The Bible contains the word of God for both Christians and Jews. The words speak clearly to how God instructs us to approach poverty, stewardship to the earth and justice. The book “We Cry Justice” provides us an opportunity to celebrate and learn from these words.
During 2022, White Voices Against Racism (WVAR), an organization dedicated to ending systemic racism through education and the truth, is sponsoring a program called A Journey to Justice. Over four months, the group will lead an exploration of the book, “We Cry Justice,” with church groups and individuals who want to read the Bible along with the Poor Peoples’ Campaign and learn what the Bible says about social justice..
The second half of the program will be a series of tours.
Details coming soon.
